Katie was born and raised in the great state of Missouri. Just a small town girl, who moved to the city and back to the country to settle down with her husband on a farm. Katie studied Advanced Photography and completed her education in 2014. Katie and her family have lived on a farm since 2009. Katie is a Mother of two, that are 10 and 13. Along with her business, Katie also has been homeschooling her children since 2013 and helps manage their farm plus care for the livestock rain or shine.

KC was Katie’s heart dog and the picture here is one of her and him taken in the Fall of 2014. When you come to the farm for portraits you may be greeted by two other very sweet dogs, Penelope and Rosebud plus a cat named Bruce Wayne. No worries, their very sweet and well mannered. We many farm animals that occasionally clients request to use as props and we’re all about it. We love our our animals very much and enjoy sharing them with others.

Katie has an outgoing and humorous personality. When it comes to her photography, she’s very focused and detail oriented. She loves to have fun but can get serious when needed. Katie’s goal with her photography style is to capture natural and timeless portraits that look beautiful on the wall years down the road. The time she spends hand-editing every single detail of your portraits is how she delivers the quality that stands out from others.
